Flexible Conduit for Explosive Atmospheres Stainless Steel

The Flexible Metal Conduit for Explosive Atmospheres (EX) from Haenke is designed to guarantee the safety and protection of electrical installations in environments with flammable vapors and explosive gases. With a nominal diameter ranging from 1/2“ to 4”, this duct is suitable for environments in Groups IIA, IIB and IIC, with protection level EPL Gb.

Main Features:

High-Resistance Material: Made from a flexible metal tube (corrugated) in 300 series stainless steel alloy, these ducts offer superior resistance to corrosion and durability in harsh environments.

Resistant External Coating: Externally, they are coated with a braid of wires in a special copper/tomback alloy (ELETROPROV-Brass) or 300 series stainless steel (ELETROPROV-Stainless Steel), providing additional protection against mechanical damage and corrosion.

Internal Insulating Cover: Internally, they have a braided insulating cover made of synthetic fiber yarns, designed to prevent possible electric arcs and provide thermal insulation in the event of faults in the electrical system.

Compliance with Standards: Certified in accordance with ABNT NBR IEC 60079-0 - Explosive Atmospheres; Part 0: Equipment and INMETRO Ordinance No. 179/2010, these conduits meet the highest quality and safety standards.
